In 1889, when the French discovered that the land between Kim Long and Kim Giao village had a special groundwater resources, the once-famous Xika rice wine was launched then. The brand was quite well-known and honoured as one of the best spirits for many generations of Kings and Emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Concerned about wasting the precious groundwater resources as well as the indigenous cultural values that this land possesses, with the desire to bring our precious products to domestic and international markets, Kim Long Giao Spirits was born to represent Quang Tri people who wish to inherit and promote the essence of their homeland.
